Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University, Office of the Registrar is seeking a Publications/Course Inventory Coordinator - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Attends University undergraduate curriculum meetings, prepares meeting minutes and reports, and assists with committee website updates and agendas.

Gathers and processes approved materials from undergraduate and graduate curriculum meetings.

Proofreads and inputs approved data in state system database and Banner course forms, reconciling Florida Atlantic’s course inventory with the state system.

Distributes curriculum reports and related correspondence to appropriate entities.

Enters curriculum changes in the University’s online catalog and assists with other catalog updates as needed.

Assists with proofreading/production of other Registrar’s Office publications.

Researches and provides data to university departments regarding Florida Atlantic’s course inventory, including course number requests and details about the curriculum approval process.

Assists with tasks related to Florida Atlantic’s graduation ceremonies, including scriptwriting, doctoral student/advisor correspondence, commencement program, and ceremony day assignments.

Completes other duties related to the Registrar’s Office as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required.


Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Two years of experience in writing, editing, and publication production or related field.

Experience with the following software programs: Banner, InDesign, and Modern Campus (formerly OmniUpdate).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Thorough attention to detail.

Ability to work well with multiple tasks and deadlines, problem-solving experience, and strong organizational skills.

Capacity to collaborate well with various individuals.

Salary:

$19.25 per hour.
