**Job Description**
**Office Manager-Phillips Rehabilitation Administration-Mount Sinai Union Square-Full Time, Days**
Delegates, monitors, and evaluates work assignments to establish and maintain office procedures and systems. Develops, implements, and maintains office procedures that are in compliance with Hospital Center policies. Establishes and maintains systems for the efficient processing of all verbal and written communications for the department
**Qualifications**
+ Associate Degree or Equivalent
+ Four years related experience including one year supervisory experience

**Responsibilities**
+ Develops and maintains computerized data files on department materials that are reviewed/revised departmental
+ Assures integrity of computer information
+ Maintains, records and disburses funds from the Discretionary and Petty Cash accounts if needed
+ Processes and maintains records for the acquisition of supplies and capital equipment for the department
+ Initiates and follows-through on all outside purchase orders, and makes recommendations for repair and/or replacement
+ Assures maintenance and repair of equipment by communication with related departments and vendors
+ Provides resource information, support and referral to patients and relatives regarding patient complaints
+ Schedules inter- and intra-departmental meetings, coordinating calendars and making arrangements for space and meeting materials, as required
+ Maintains the process of 1199 grievances (when needed)
+ Ensures maintenance of patient/employee confidentiality and the management of information
+ Observes and manages/supervises the implementation of the Health Care System’s compliance policies
+ Effectively manages own time and staff's time
+ Prioritizes multiple tasks/projects
+ Develops realistic timelines considering employees' and team's priorities
+ Interacts as liaison with all levels of hospital personnel, including administrative and managerial, to achieve necessary coordination with various departments
+ Supervises secretaries, hires, terminates, disciplines as necessary
+ Orients new employees. Schedules and approves time

**Compensation Statement**
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62571 - $88900 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
