Office Manager
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Office Manager in the service industry, located in West Seneca, New York. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining an organized and efficient office environment. Responsibilities: • Accurately process benefit applications and claims, ensuring all records are properly formatted and filed. • Handle general clerical tasks such as mail management, typing, e-mailing, faxing, copying, filing, and general bookkeeping/accounting. • Answer telephone calls and greet visitors, screening and directing as necessary. • Maintain and update member/participant records, ensuring eligibility and claim data are accurate. • Prepare documents such as proposals, correspondence, and standard reports. • Provide advice to participants on benefit programs and serve as an advocate when needed. • Maintain quality records and files for participant claims and internal/external auditing. • Assist in the administration of health, disability, health reimbursement, vision, dental COBRA, life insurance, pension, and annuity benefits. • Contribute to the annual renewal processes and coordinate the creation and distribution of benefit-related communication materials. • Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, tax matters, check processing, and tracking all accounting and banking transactions. • Identify process issues and assist with research and resolution of problems and errors. • Maintain and document processes in a comprehensible format, ensuring the integrity of reports. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with 'About Time' software • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions • Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Familiarity with handling Accounts Receivable (AR) • Comfortable with Answering Inbound Calls • Proficiency in using AS400 system Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
