Office Manager
Position: Office ManagerLocation: Charm City Health Care
Our well-established and growing Internal Medicine practice (with an additional satellite clinic site) is looking for a qualified office manager. The manager is responsible for day-to-day operations. Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations. This position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations and medical coding and billing. The main purpose of this position it to ensure a steady workflow and uninterrupted service in our offices. Will require to spend time at both locations during the week. ACO experience is preferred. Experience with MDPCP is a bonus.Responsibilities:Support and oversee admin staff with patient needsCoordinate admin and provider schedules as neededAnswer the phone for billing and insurance questionsCheck and answer office emailsOversee the medical biller (off site)Maintain check register and pay office billsOpen and distribute mailManage patient billing, bad debt accounts and collection accountsMaintain schedule templates for providers for the upcoming year. Keep track of license, DEA and CDS renewals for each providerPost job advertisements and interview candidatesSupervise training of new employeesPayroll ManagementMaintain office inventory lists and order office supplies and medical supplies when neededOther duties as necessary to help the team and keep the office running smoothlySkills:Proven work experience as a medical office managerKnowledge of accounting and administrative processesKnowledge of medical issues and terminologyFamiliar with medical billing and coding specifically ICD-10 CM and CPTAbility to handle medical records discreetly and comply with HIPAA guidelinesAbility to multi-task and perform well in stressful situationsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsCommunication skills and customer service orientationsStarting base pay 60k, plus annual bonus.
