Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Company’s office, general facilities maintenance, health & safety and governance. The successful candidate will be based in our Ipswich office.
Key Tasks
Ensure visitors sign in and out and have required visitors passManaging any deliveries and making sure they go to correct employees if requiredEnsure all consumables are stockedOrdering general supplies for the CompanyOrganising travel and accommodationBooking catering for internal and external client meetings.Managing Ipswich office car parking.Answering the telephone and directing calls as required.Housekeeping duties as required including setting up refreshments for internal meetings and washing up.Support offshore procurement team for all Ipswich office related purchasesManage Site Security & own ManualManage access control system, creating and deactivating all passesCCTV Management and MonitoringPerform minor onsite repairsGeneral outside maintenance ensuring all pathways and accesses to building are clear and free of riskScheduling contractors for major repairs as requiredLiaising with external suppliers i.e. security alarms, vending and building maintenance.Discussing maintenance concerns with the employer and communicating these to Maintenance WorkersOn-call and responding to emergency maintenance needsPoint of Contact for Health & Safety (First Aiders/ Fire Marshals etc)Reporting directly to Head of Claims & Operations. This role will have contact with all levels within the Company and will also liaise with external bodies.
