Job Purpose

Situated in the picturesque Garden Route, Nashua George herewith invites you to apply for the position of Field Service Engineer. You will be responsible for Installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining of all Nashua products (including Ricoh, HP, Lexmark, Epson and Ricoh multifunction printers). You will be working in a team alongside some of the best technicians in the industry, giving you the opportunity to improve both your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications Required:

GRD 12 / Matric Comptia A+ and N+ certification Must have OA (office Automation – Printer) experience. Completed My-Ricoh development areas will be advantageous. PBX / CCTV experience will be advantageous. Own Tools Valid Driver license

Duties & Responsibilities

Service and repair all of Nashua’s equipment in the field. Logistical & methodical approach to fault-finding (Strong troubleshooting skills) Keep service callout records up to date by completing all service calls. Take responsibility for boot stock allocated to yourself. Fully install MFP, lay cabling (when and if required) and supply training to the client. Must be open and willing to be crossed trained over all lines of business.

Skills and Attributes

Good written & verbal communication to interpret customer challenges/issues. Problem-solving skills to diagnose equipment issues. Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills Attention to detail to identify issues and complete reports/job logs. Planning and organizing skills. Good organizational skills related to tools and paperwork whilst in the field. Relevant computer & technical skills to efficiently manage all service call-outs, providing high-quality service and repairs for relevant jobs Excellent time management skills Ability to work well under pressure.

Other Assignments

Attend required Nashua Product Training both online and classroom.

Working Conditions

Working hours are 08h00 to 16h30, Monday to Friday Travelling to & from site to client premises per schedule requirements,  Install new equipment, respond to service requests, troubleshoot equipment issues and/or provide technical training on company equipment. Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment.
