Job Summary: As an Office Assistant, you would be responsible for calculating and maintaining payroll, communicating with Food & Beverage Management, and maintaining strong organizational and time management skills. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: Mid April - Late October Pay: $16.50/hour - $17.00/hour Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Yellowstone National Park? Responsibilities Calculate daily labor costs: monitor and approve hours in the Kronos system, recording time daily, completing excel spreadsheets daily, tracking overtime and training hours. Submitting completed balanced daily and weekly payroll figures by deadline. Match punch detail reports to posted schedules working with Food & Beverage management to correct time in Kronos system as necessary. Maintaining accurate information and reports. Complete and submit reports on a set schedule. Ability to work on details in a hectic work environment Maintain confidential information. Report to work at 6:00am daily Perform general office duties- professional telephone interactions, maintain files, mail pick up and drop off. Works independently, must be self motivated Qualifications Ability to accurately enter payroll related data. Ability to use a computer system and printer. Ability to use a calculator. Ability to audit and correct payroll reporting information. Ability to prioritize workload and work in a hectic work environment. Ability to learn quickly. Ability to positively and effectively communicate with co-workers. Ability to react in a professional and flexible manner. Physical Requirements include: Must be able to stand for variable amounts of time. Must be able to sit for variable amounts of time. Must be able to walk for variable amounts of time.
