Office Assistant

**Overview**
Office Assistant (STVA):
Bowhead is looking for a Office Assistant to join our team at Stafford, VA. The Office Assistant will be responsible for greeting, identifying, and directing visitors. They will be maintaining visitor records and perform incident typing and clerical work assigned. This person may be assisting in arranging special events, meetings and other duties as assigned.
**Responsibilities**
Duties include:
+ Provide general office administration support which may include responding to calls for facility repair, the purchase of office supplies including stationery, business cards, name plates, handling special mail requests, printing services, and facility security functions.
+ Provide general administrative support to the Program Management team with scheduling, meeting coordination, meeting minutes, and ensuring deliverables are on track.
+ Supporting reception with greeting guests, verifying information, answering the general phone system, and assisting with scheduling conference rooms.
+ Assist employees with travel and/or expense reporting.
+ Assisting with office material ordering and purchase requests.
+ Assisting with onboarding and office space allocations as required.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent is required at a minimum.
+ Two (2+) or more years professional experience including office assistance and administrative functions.
+ Two (2+) or more years professional experience including basic ordering/contract-review experience.
+ Experience with one or more of the following computer systems: SharePoint, CostPoint, and Deltek.
+ Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite – Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
+ Experience supporting government or military environments highly desired.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
**Physical Demands:**
+ Must be able to lift to 25 pounds
+ Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
+ Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
**SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:** Must currently hold a security clearance at the Public Trust (T-1/NACI). US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust (T-1/NACI) clearance at this location.
