Position summary:
This position provides administrative support to Jared and Myron Schelp. This role is critical to our member experience and requires a friendly, upbeat demeanor and a well-organized person. The incumbent supports the daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: answering the phones, meeting/greeting members, handling/distributing postal mail and practice email, ordering supplies, utilizing Thrivent Financial computer systems and programs in support of client relations, and other administrative tasks as assigned. The Office Assistant reports to and is employed by Clear Compass.

Hours for this position are M-F 8-4/8-8:4:30. Compensations is between $20-24/hr. This is an in office position.

Position Roles/Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesAssist Financial representatives in the preparation and follow up for the client/member meetingsProvides back-up support on tasks that do not require any type of licensing or registration for other staff members, as neededPrepares or coordinates the preparation of routine correspondence, reports, and special projects typically of a routine natureSupports projects, administration of various programs, and processing functions as neededDrive client/member facing activity in the practice by scheduling meetings with client/members on behalf of the practice’s Financial RepresentativesHandles incoming telephone calls to Clear Compass and responds to requests for informationPerforms routine administrative duties such as maintaining office supplies and processing mailUpdate the contact management system with client/member contact and preference informationTracks practice expenses and oversees the practice bill payingParticipates in the business planning processAssisting with the conversion of paper files to electronic filesCompletes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Position Qualifications

Previous administrative/secretarial experience desiredStrong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learnAbility to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptionsAbility to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential informationBasic understanding of Clear Compass, our products and services, and Thrivent Financial
