Primary Care at Linden Hill is looking for an Office Assistant.

Primary Care at Linden Hill is located at 100 South Riding Boulevard, 2nd Floor in Wilmington, Delaware. Linden Hill offers a range of medical services for children and adults through all stages of life. Services at Linden Hill include Women’s Health, Immunizations, Physician Examinations, Preventive Medicine, and treatment of acute or chronic conditions.
 

Office Hours:

Monday & Wednesday from 7am to 7pmTuesday & Thursday from 7am to 5pmFriday from 7am to 4:30pm

Duties / Responsibilities:

As an office assistant you will be involved with scheduling appointments, interacting with patients professionally, and ensuring patient confidentiality. Collecting demographic and financial information, processing referrals, and verifying insurance reimbursement eligibility. An office assistant will be involved in day-end reconciliation of appointments and payments received. You will need to answer phone calls professionally, relays messages to providers, and communicates with providers and staff through electronic medical records (EMR). You will keep patients informed about issues and facilitate tests, labs, and appointments. An office assistant prepares medical records, research issues, and respond to patients professionally. Assist with administrative tasks and adhere to departmental safety rules.

Education Requirements:

High School Graduate or GED required.Medical receptionist or medical assistant degree preferred but not required.Experience in a medical office setting or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
