You will be responsible for elevating our strategy to accelerate organic growth and margin expansion by driving advanced analytics and visualization tools across the Portfolio and Business management organizations. You will work with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Pricing, Business, and IT professionals to enable data-based decision-making solutions. You will use your knowledge and experience to put tools, processes, and metrics in place that optimize and manage innovation, launch excellence, value price capture, improve profitability, and track portfolio performance.

To excel in this role, you will use your understanding of Business practices and innate curiosity to dig into problems, constantly asking the question, \"How can I make this better?\" You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized, able to build rapport with colleagues.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

·       Analyze the financial performance of the product portfolio and identify areas for optimization.

·       Build, maintain, and enrich product portfolio data models to improve analytics.

·       Convert complex data models and information into simple and actionable views.

·       Communicate product portfolio insights and recommendations to the leadership team.

·       Synthesize market research and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities and assess the viability of existing products.

·       Identify trends and opportunities for product improvement and development opportunities.

·       Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product portfolio management.

·       Support product portfolio managers with strategically deciding which products to invest in, develop, harvest, or exit.

YOU MUST HAVE

 

·       Bachelor’s degree: Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or other IT or business-related field

·       5+ years of B2B analytics experience in Portfolio Management, Pricing, and Sales, including solutions architecture.

·       Strong knowledge and/or experience with visualization tools (Power BI and Tableau) reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WE VALUE

 

·       In-depth understanding of P&L and profitability analysis

·       Portfolio Management or Product Marketing experience using business data modeling, data mining, and/or segmentation techniques.

·       Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive problem-solving

·       Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical analysis software

·       Demonstrated experience in serving as a technical lead on moderately complex projects.

·       Demonstrated analytical skills, proficiency with computer software applications, and the ability to produce and consume written documentation.

·       Demonstrated initiative to stay current on industry practice outside of study and training.

·       Ability to develop and communicate technical vision for projects and initiatives that can be understood by customers and management.
