OCI Data Center Portfolio Manager Intern - OVIP

About the Role

Data Center Portfolio Management drives and supports OCI’s Data Center Sourcing and Energy program. As OCI continues to scale, it becomes increasingly important that we efficiently and effectively manage our data center portfolio and supplier base. The OCI Data Center Portfolio Manager is a critical role that drives valuable analytics to assist with decision-making and continuing to optimize data center cost structure.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring key commercial terms of data center contracts are accurately captured and recorded Maintain master portfolio capacity model and ensure adequate controls are implemented, including performing periodic data reconciliations against sources of truth Forecasting upcoming lease expiries, remaining total lease obligations, and assessing supplier exposure Generating analytics on supplier costs and transaction volume to provide leadership with insights to improve negotiation efforts Prepare regular reports and respond to questions from senior leadership Expand and improve underwriting methodology to provide supplier cost breakdown and identify drivers (e.g. market, power model, supplier, design etc.) Communications for standard daily business needs, newsletters, status updates and executive write ups, business meeting content build outs Problem solving and providing input and support to manager to unblock on business and project critical needs Should be able to work independently and also contribute to wider team efforts and cross-organizational initiatives Should be extremely flexible and be good at embracing and shifting direction with high levels of change often

Qualifications

US Veteran transitioning from active service or Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred Experience with financial modeling, CFA candidates preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel – specifically data tables, pivot tables, sensitivity analysis and macros Advanced PowerPoint – ability to develop presentation materials under time constraint Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, applied mathematics or prior internships in finance or consulting Have basic understanding of lease contract or project investment underwriting Knowledge of SQL is a plus

Additional Information: 

Hourly wage is $30 per hour. This is a 40-hour per week position. Internship runs from January 27 through April 18, 2025 – should be available full time 40 hours per week during these dates.
