This position bears primary responsibility for customer support and ultimate accountability for compliance and quality assurance. He/She develops operational goals and plans, monitors and communicates performance against plan, sets priorities, reports financial performance, prepares analyses for clients, and provides recommendations for operational improvements. The Ocean Freight Manager I also works closely with sales and program management groups to grow revenue through cross-selling and expansion of existing client relationships.
