This is a part time (20 hours/week) position supporting patients in Adult Day Health.

The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical disabilities in accordance with all applicable and commonly accepted professional standards of practice. Designs treatment plans, which focus on maximizing independence with personal care and activities of daily living. Documents care, coordinates with the physician, other facility staff, and family members regarding the scope of the treatment plan, instructs in precautions, follows through on the need for additional service or referral.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Upon hire: California Occupational Therapist License.

Preferred qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Training in Treatment of Adult Hemiplegia and Hand Therapy. 1 year of experience in an acute/rehab setting.
