Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with established treatment plans and professional standards. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering compassionate care and supporting patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
Education & Licensure Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree required if graduated before January 1, 2002. Master’s degree required if graduated after January 1, 2002. International candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred). Must obtain an Occupational Therapy license within the first 90 days of employment. CPR certification required within 90 days of employment. Must maintain all required certifications and licensure. Experience & Skills Prior work experience preferred but not required beyond clinical education. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and assist with 100 pounds in shared lifting. Additional Requirements Professional Membership: American Occupational Therapy Association membership preferred. Transportation: Valid driver’s license required for company vehicle use. Proof of insurance required if using a personal vehicle. Must be willing to work at multiple locations as needed.
