**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Make your next move matter!** **Full-Time Occupational Therapist-Samaritan Hospital, Troy, NY** Samaritan Hospital, located in Troy, NY and a member of St. Peter’s Health Partners, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to cover across multiple service lines including – orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, oncology and intensive care. Enjoy excellent colleagues, strong system support in a rewarding environment. **What you will do:** + Our exceptional team of Occupational Therapists deliver quality occupational therapy services according to treatment plans for patients + Document progress toward identified objectives, provide accurate and timely documentation with online EMR + Work collaboratively with the therapy team in a great team environment, and conduct patient and family education. **Minimum Requirements:** + Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree + Current NYS OT license and registration + Minimum 2 years OT experience in acute inpatient hospital setting strongly preferred + BLS Certification + Flexibility and exceptional clinical reasoning skills are essential as well as an ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and deadlines + We are looking for a committed occupational therapist who displays strong skills in flexibility, time management, communication and superb customer service excellence **Pay Range:** $35.85 - $45.50 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
