Occupational Therapist CHT Fellowship

This position is to fill the CHT Fellowship Cohort for 2025. The candidate will house in Plano Alliance for the first 6 months of 2025 and then transfer to 19230 Dallas N Washington for the remainder of the fellowship year.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the course of a workday/shift. Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds dead weight aloneAbility to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a workday/shiftVisual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and monitor patient needs and to maintain accurate records, recognize people and provide directionsAbility to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directionsAbility to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the communityPossess fine motor skills for legible and accurate reporting, charting, scheduling, daily correspondence, and presentations, either manually or through use of electronic equipmentPossess fine motor skills for effective and efficient handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational TherapyCurrent State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practiceCardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification requiredAbility to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients
