Occupational Therapist
• Provides treatment for all students enrolled in Children’s Services using goal-directed, developmentally-sequenced activities in the areas of self-help/adaptive, perceptual motor, fine motor coordination and sensory domains, to enhance educational functioning as indicated on the IEP • Assists in the facilitation and restoration or maintenance of optimum independence for all students • Recommends adaptive equipment for carry through of goals • Evaluates student’s functional level; recommends and implements an occupational therapy program in accordance with the student’s IEP mandates and a physician’s referral • Prepares reports on student’s progress in and reactions to occupational therapy, and maintains records of each student’s work and progress as required by regulation and in keeping with agency standards.  Assists in conducting in-service training programs as requested by an administrator.  Positions and transfers students as necessary Requirements • Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy •Licensed as a Registered Occupational Therapist in NYS Benefits + Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) + Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) + Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) + Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) + Short Term & Long Term Disability + Training & Development
