We are looking for a qualified Occupational Hygienist with the following competencies:

Grade 12 Registered member of SAIOH on Occupational Hygienist level and CoM Intermediate Certificate in Mine Environmental Control Certificate of Competency in Occupational Hygiene 5-7 years of experience in Occupational Hygiene/Mine Ventilation 2 years of experience in Mining and 2 years of experience as an Occupational Hygienist respectively

Responsibilities:

Identify conditions in the workplace that may cause illness or adverse health effects to employees. Evaluate these risks and advise on control measures. Audit compliance with Occupational Health Standards Trend analysis of occupational exposure data and linkage of data to occupational groups Occupational Hygiene objectives and targets Education and training of employees on occupational health hazards and risks Incident investigation
