The Occupational Health Services LPN- Night Shift provides onsite promotion and restoration of health and the prevention/treatment of illness and injury.

 Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

\n\nInteracts positively and professionally with applicants, employees and leaders pertaining to OHS services and functions.\nPromote safety and health to all associates with education, information, and example.\nProvide medical care and first aid in accordance with Protocols and Standing Orders within the scope of practice for licensure.\nProvide health appropriate evaluations and treatment for work and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.\nPerform drug and alcohol testing per policy.\nAssist with case management strategies for work related injuries and illnesses.\nParticipate in Incident investigations as necessary.\nServes as liaison with medical claims adjusters, medical providers, and/or counsel for workers’ compensation.\nMaintains accurate documentation and assists in departmental medical records upkeep.\nServe as part of the on-call weekend/holiday rotation for OHS.\nParticipate in Safety, Health Services, and Human Resources projects within the facility.\n\n

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

\n\nAbility to accurately, efficiently, and timely execute tasks.\nAbility to use sound judgment and discretion while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.\nStrong interpersonal, teamwork and relationship management skills.\nEnergetic, reliable, and resourceful; exhibit initiative and creativity.\nAbility to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs.\nAble to use independent thinking with nursing knowledge and legal limitations to make appropriate decisions and recommendations.\nProficient with various MS applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nExcellent oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with management, front-line leaders, and employees.\nOccasional time in the processing/ production area.\nAbility to function in a fast paced/ changing environment with multiple demands at one time.\nDetail oriented and organized.\nEffective time management and prioritization skills.\n\n

Education & Experience:

\n\nCurrent unrestricted LPN license to practice professional nursing in hiring state (or compact licensure state) required.\nCurrent certification in First Aid, CPR and AED required.\n1 years’ experience in health care preferred.\nBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.\n\n
