Occupational Health Nurse - Bradenton and Clearwater Florida
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will promote, protect and help restore worker's physical and mental health by establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. You will manage all workers compensation claims to provide for timely resolution of each claim, return the worker to gainful employment and minimize the compensation costs in partnership with the human resources and safety teams.
This role would have oversight of team member needs at both our Bradenton and Clearwater facilities. This role would be based out of Bradenton with weekly travel to Clearwater (appx. 1 day per week). Must be willing to travel between sites.
YOUR IMPACT
Provide employees with both physical and psychological nursing care. Offer advice and counseling to employees to assist their personal health decisions
Establish strong partnerships with local testing / care facilities.
Medically manage workers compensation claims
Manage early return to work program
Work with attorneys on worker compensation legal claim management Provide employee health training
Maintain OSHA compliance programs such as hearing conservation, blood borne pathogens, pulmonary function testing, etc
Manage substance abuse program
CEAP coordinator for company program
Manage DOT random drug testing program
Coordinate pre-placement physicals, drug testing and annual medical monitoring
Maintain OSHA 300 log and any other reports necessary to meet governmental compliance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Florida RN license
3-plus years experience in Occupational Nursing in heavy manufacturing
Ability to travel up to 15%.

Pay Range:
$72,200.00 - $116,200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
