Position Responsibilities:
Provide nursing service to employees with injuries and illnesses, including emergency and urgent careGive treatment, administer medication, and immunizations, and perform assessments within limits established and authorized by supervision and in accordance with the Nursing Procedures manual and/or a healthcare provider's direction and within the Nurse Practice Act in the State of WashingtonPromote a sense of urgency within the clinic setting creating efficient patient flow patternsAdvise and direct care when working with medical assistantsRefer cases requiring medical attention to a health care providerInterpret existing medical and healthcare procedures and practices to resolve questions involving nursing assessment, treatment, and triageIdentify and refer employees with test results that are critical and/or who have urgent values needing immediate attentionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Currently hold an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington, or eligible to obtain such licensure1+ years of nursing experience in outpatient settings and/or occupational nursingPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience delivering occupational health careValid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationCertified in Occupational Health Nursing by the American Board for Occupational Health Nurses and/or certified in Case Management by the Commission for Case Manager CertificationDrug Free Workplace:
