Job Summary
The Occupational Therapy Assistant, Certified assists in preparation of patients for treatment under the direction of occupational therapist. May be responsible for operation and maintenance of equipment. Prepares and sanitizes treatment room for the patients. Helps maintain the medical records of the client and perform various clerical duties. Greets the patients and schedules appointments. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

Qualifications
Associate Degree graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program preferred 0-1 years experience in healthcare with adults, geriatrics, or individuals with physical disabilities. required 1-2 years experience in healthcare with adults, geriatrics, or individuals with physical disabilities. preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Comprehensive understanding of occupational therapy, and rehabilitation practices. Knowledge of state, federal, and industry regulations and ensuring compliance. Ability to provide high-quality patient care and execute treatment plans. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals. Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Knowledge of managing and maintaining therapy equipment. Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare departments and professionals.Licenses and Certifications
BCLS - Basic Life Support Current American Heart Association BLS card required
