As a Nursing Supervisor at Crozer Health - Taylor Hospital, you will provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care by coordinating patient care, and To provide overall management of nursing care and services rendered by the nursing personnel assigned to the nursing departments on designated shifts

Responsibilites:

Consults with the members of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate quality patient care. Conducts regular rounds on all nursing departments. Assesses individual patients and conducts patient interviews when necessary. Serves as a clinical consultant to the nursing staff as requested. Demonstrates competence in the functions and skills of the Staff Nurse. Schedules personnel for the current shift and the upcoming shift, as appropriate to the identified patient care needs. Monitors permanent shift employees through the orientation process. Documents appropriate and inappropriate behavior of nursing services personnel, and communicates same to the appropriate person. In conjunction with the Nurse Manager and the Clinical Educator, identifies the learning needs of the permanent shift staff.

Requirements

Current RN License in the state of Pennsylvania 3 years of acute care clinical experience Mandated and Permissive Reporter Training
