A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—8:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Identify and ensure appropriate placement, facilitation, and expedition of all patient flow transactions, including direct and emergency patient admissions and transfers, in accordance with established clinical standards and knowledge of disease entities.
Address significant patient issues and staffing needs throughout the house and make modifications to ensure equitable staffing arrangements throughout the hospital.
Communicate changes with relevant leaders.
Manage the patient experience trans-organizationally to optimize all resources to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
Follow Hospital and department policies and procedures with special attention to attendance and punctuality, confidentiality, dress code and display of ID badge, and safety.
Complete mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department-specific competencies and requirements.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
BSN from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
3 years of experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
1 year of management experience.

Physical Requirements:
Frequent walking, standing, sitting.
Manual dexterity, corrected vision, hand and eye coordination.
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
