Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a full time Nursing Assistant for the Palliative Care/In Patient Hospice Unit to work various, 12-hour shifts, including every 3rd weekend.    

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care Assisting patients with daily activities such as changing and bathing Measuring and recording vital signs Administering basic treatments Helping to ensure a safe care environment Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met Assist the team with answering, patient call bells Assist visitors and patient's needs. Manage EPIC Assist with rounds for patient experience Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
