Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities. 

Reports to: Director Med Surg and  Women's

Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs,and recording intake and output.Drag Edit DeleteAssists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.Drag Edit DeleteReports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.Drag Edit DeleteAssists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
Minimum Education

American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire or must obtain within 90 days of employment.Drag Edit DeleteMinimum Work Experience
Six months to one year experience in medical-surgical setting or other acute care setting preferred; if no experience, job training will be provided. Students entering into the Nursing Field will be considered.
