ResponsibilitiesAscension Wisconsin is looking for Board Eligible/Board Certified candidates in Internal Medicine - Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hospital Services Team. Ideally candidate will have hospital experience. Nocturnist APPs will be expected to respond to all code blue and rapid response requests.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at St Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI.
Position Highlights:
Work directly with the providers: relatively independent with access to your attending physician. Will be working 168, 10-hour shifts (can pick up additional shifts if you choose to)Competitive compensation and benefits plan with retirement options

Admissions and cross-coverageObtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic proceduresProvides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditionsProvides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resourcesPerforms preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted required.Physician Assistant credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office required.Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.Orthopedic Physician Assistant. Verified by local Credentialing Office preferred.
Education:
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program required.Master's degree preferred.Work Experience:
