Hartford Healthcare Medical Group is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Gynecologic Oncology team This is an excellent opportunity to join an established systemThis position will provide holistic quality and cost effective advanced practice care for patients families and others in a target population and participates in the medical management of patients to achieve or maintain optimal health status manage disease and reduce risk of illness This position will also engage in independent decision making regarding the health care of individuals families and groups across the lifespan and the health care continuumThis APP position will help organize and manage the chemotherapy practices see patients for cancer surveillance evaluate post care providers as necessaryMaintains patient medical recordsMay develop policiesprocedures participates in or designs changes in the system of care deliveryMay participate in clinical research in conjuncture with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer AllianceProvides patient counselingeducationParticipates in medical student and health professional teaching acts as a clinical consultant to peers and
