Job Requirements:
The Position will have the following requirements:
Board Certification as a Nurse PractitionerCurrent TX Nurse Practitioner medical licensureMinimum of one year of experience in direct patient careCurrent Basic Life Support CertificationBilingual in English and Spanish encouraged, but not required
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs history and physical assessment, behavioral health care, minor procedures, patient education, and refers any care beyond the scope of local medical facilities emergency departments or urgent care centers.Conduct intake health interviews and medical assessments Onsite diagnosis and treatment of basic medical conditions and provide routine onsite careReferral to the local health system for complex, urgent, or emergent medical conditionsEnhanced medical monitoring; public health/infectious disease supportMedical summaries prior to travel, transfer, or release
