Job Summary

Responsible for day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary professional staff to achieve optimal patient results and outcomes.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s in nursing required. 1-3 years of leadership experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

An active license in the state of practice required upon hire. Certified in specialty area of nursing practice may be required within 1 year of hire.

Work Schedule

7:00am-3:30pm, occas wknd/hol/call; 80hrs/2wks
