JOB SUMMARY
A Manger is administratively and operationally responsible 24/7 for HUB operations. A Manager collaborates with all levels of the nursing leadership team to develop standardized processes to improve patient and employee outcomes and satisfaction. A Manager participates in strategic planning through the development and implementation of organizational goal.
The HUB is an interdisciplinary department that is responsible for patient placement, patient status, and daily management of inpatient staffing needs including remote sitter and telemetry needs. The HUB’s primary role is to facilitate seamless patient progression throughout Blessing Hospital.
This position is responsible for the supervision and assistance with inpatient daily staffing needs, patient placement, and patient progression throughout Blessing Hospital. This position provides supervision and oversees staff that includes: RN, LPN, CNA/SNA, Unit Secretary, Remote Patient Monitoring Tech, Patient Transport, Psych Tech, Order Organizer, Staffing Clerk, House Supervisor, and Contract Staff. The Staffing Manager will promote customer and employee satisfaction. This role will ensure the efficiency of deploying staff in the inpatient departments. This role will manage staffing to budgetary needs.
This role will have direct reports and provide daily staff supervision and mentoring while ensuring effective and efficient operation of the department.
This position will place high emphasis on mentoring and supervising the House Supervisor role.
This position will work closely with other managers placing an emphasis on relationship and team building.
This position will exhibit excellence in organizational skills when managing multiple tasks at one time, be successful in crisis management, assimilate information quickly to produce sound decisions and recognize situations that require immediate intervention especially during times of increased census.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
+ Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Three to five years of experience in a clinical setting with extensive knowledge of practice operations.
+ Bachelor of Science, Nursing
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
+ Possesses current state RN license.
+ Maintain current BLS
