Job Description

Nurse Leader - M2 PACU


Exciting Opportunity at MSK: In collaboration with the multidisciplinary perioperative leadership team, the peri-anesthesia Nurse Leader is responsible for the planning, directing, and managing of clinical and operational functions of the Memorial 2 Post Anesthesia Care Unit (M2 PACU). The Nurse Leader provides clinical leadership for nursing and nursing support staff by developing and implementing programs, services, procedures, and quality nursing standards to ensure exemplary care for patients undergoing surgical, endoscopic and image guided procedures at MSK. The Nurse Leader is pivotal in offering transformational leadership by creating and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports, fosters, and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice, and patient safety.

 

Role Overview:

Work in a highly collaborative inter-professional practice environmentPlan, direct and manage the clinical and operational functions of the M2 PACU during all hours of operation.Will play a pivotal role in offering transformational leadership by creating and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports, furthers and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice, and patient safety

Key Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years recent Peri-Operative experience required.A Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master's degree is required (MSN preferred). Matriculating candidates will be considered.A NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license and registrationDemonstrated leadership skills.Related certification required.

$164,100.00-$270,900.00
