Responsibilities

Job summary:

Provide specialized care to postpartum mothers and newborns, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being during the critical early days after childbirth.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess the health status of postpartum mothers and newborns. Provide education and support on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum recovery.Administer medications and perform medical procedures as required.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.Offer emotional support and counseling to new mothers and their families
Qualifications

Minimum:

Valid nursing license and certification as a Registered Nurse.American Heart Association BLSNRP- if new to service line within 90 days of hireExperience in obstetric or maternal-child nursing preferred.
