Summary:
Under general supervision, an incumbent of this class assists in providing for the management of patient care by means of clinical expertise gained in a specialized aspect of nursing care. Must have the ability to solve problems, communicate with physicians, and provide services to the ACT Outpatient Program for Behavioral Health. Participate in the Spravato S-Ketamine program, monitoring patients. Supervision may be exercised over a small support staff.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. License, Certification and Registration: Possession of a valid license and current registration issued by the New York State Department of Education, as a registered professional nurse and three years of professional nursing experience where the primary function of the position was nursing in a hospital or healthcare agency, two years of which must have been in the area of specialization.
