Nurses are responsible for overseeing daily First Aid Operations of the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex in coordination with the Head Nurse and Safety & Security Management Team. This position performs all duties in accordance with the licensure requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Job Functions:
Assess, treat, and triage guests and team members who report to First Aid, as well as supervise care provided to the patients by Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)
Provide exemplary service to all guests and team members within the HersheyparkⓇ Entertainment Complex
Administer emergency medications as permitted and required
Perform and complete administrative tasks, as needed
Ensure proper and accurate documentation of all patient contacts and/or treatments
Maintain adequate medical supply stock in patient care areas
Consistently practice safe work habits to include, but not limited to, the use of personal protective equipment, lifting, and reporting of unsafe conditions
Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age on the date of applying
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license
Must possess a valid certification in CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers
Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse
Must be able to obtain a valid Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Background Check, and Federal Criminal Background Check, as a condition of continued employment
Required to complete pre-employment drug testing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications, including Excel and Word
Must have proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times
Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information
Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally, including delivering safety instructions/directions, verbal cues, and speaking clearly into microphones and radios
Must have the ability to remain alert and vigilant at all times
Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements to include, but not limited to, passing required tests and certifications within established timelines and ensuring all certifications remain up-to-date and active
Ability to handle stressful working conditions, and emergencies, and accept a high degree of accountability
Must display a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn, and a professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
Job Demands:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Team members must work a minimum of eight (8) hours every two pay periods in order to stay an active employee
