Nuclear Medicine Tech

Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals under the supervision of the authorized user and operates radio isotopic detector equipment to produce photoscans of designated areas of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. In Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist serves adult and geriatric patients.

REQUIRED:
1. Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. 2. Certified, or eligible for certification, by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, OR Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or registry eligible, through American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). 3. Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). 4. Registered as a CT Technologist for sites with PETCT and/or SPECTCT within 90 day probationary period.
