Detailed Job Description:

Monitor NSX daily backups  Monitor NSX system health  Monitor ESG/Edge nodes for physical to virtual connectivity  Review routing between physical and virtual environments  Assist OPCS team with daily support task that arise in the NSX/VMware environment as related to network reachability  Assist OPCS team with daily support task that arise from NSX/VMware alarms as related to network reachability  Keep documentation/drawings up to date, modify as needed  Participate in future Design meetings  Certifications preferred – VMWare Professional – Network Virtualization

Work with deployment team to 

Test ESG/Edge nodes failover when migrating between ESXi host  Test ESG/Edge nodes failover when rebooting redundant nodes  Test ESG/Edge nodes failover when physical uplink fails/admin shut 

Experience required: 5 Years
