Job Description

Responsibilities:

Perform DFA (Design for Assembly) analysis for new product mechanical assembly, and drive for non-compliance closure.Working with DE (Design Engineering) and EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) suppliers to drive closure of mechanical assembly or process related issues.Working with DE (Design Engineering) and EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) suppliers to develop new BE (Backend) processes / technology.   Develop suppliers to provide best in class manufacturing processes to support new product manufacturing requirements.Hands-on experience in product mechanical failures troubleshooting and optimization of new product manufacturing processes.  Continuously develop and seek new processes breakthroughs that improve quality, productivity and cost.

Basic Requirements

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.Candidate must possess below experience and knowledge :Mechanical assembly processFamiliar with best practices in mechanical assembly and assembly jig / fixture designFamiliar with poka-yoke design and Design for Assembly guideline / design rulesFamiliar with statistical tool such as pFMEA, SPC, DOEUltrasonic, resistance welding and heat staking processVacuum leak test requirement and troubleshootingExperience / knowledge in below technology/methodology will be added advantageExperience in SMT process for Flex and PCBAExperience in SMT DFM processExcellent communication, organization, reporting and highly analytical skills individuals with strong personal interaction skills are encouraged to apply.Self motivated with high level of initiative and energy.Willingness for domestic and international travel (when applicable)On-site at EMS / supplier site as required to provide technical support / guidance.Preferred 2-3 years related working experience in the following field.
