The National Policy Consensus Center (NPCC), in the Hatfield School of Government, is a leader nationally and in Oregon for providing the knowledge, skills, and approaches needed for communities, leaders, and organizations from all sectors to address challenges together. For more information please Click Here Position Summary The National Policy Consensus Center (NPCC) Program Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support and coordination to NPCC and each of its programs. The Coordinator will work closely with the Fiscal and Operations Manager to ensure consistent, effective, and equity centered operational policies and procedures are implemented across NPCC and each of its programs by understanding and applying technical and process knowledge. The Coordinator works collaboratively within the center as part of the operations team and with each program director and project manager, as well as with the other units within the Hatfield School and other departments within the College of Urban and Public Affairs (CUPA).
In accordance with the AAUP collective bargaining agreement this position is open only to current PSU AAUP academic professionals. Article 17 Section 11 refers.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of work-related experience. Demonstrated commitment to equity and a history of contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Demonstrated ability of program management/project coordination skills. Effective oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to internal team members and external partner and community members. Demonstrated ability to be creative, take initiative, be adaptable, and work both as part of a team and independently. Ability to successfully problem-solve and collaborate with colleagues at all levels within a large organization. Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and organize activity within a unit to meet deadlines and follow-through on commitments. Demonstrated ability to perform very detailed work with a high level of accuracy. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, website management, and other electronic media. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in higher education. Experience working with Banner, DataMaster/Cognos or similar enterprise systems. Work Days/Hours Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, schedule to be determined. Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement Salary is dependent on several factors, and new employees will typically start around the Q1 level to allow for later growth within the salary band. PSU has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity.
The starting annual salary for this position will be between $51,984 to $53,712, but may be negotiated above this range dependent upon the factors above, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR.
