NP/PA – Pediatric Neuromuscular

Work Schedule: 

100% FTE. Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. No weekends, call, holidays, or nights. 

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:

Provide care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses commonly encountered in pediatric neuromuscular outpatient, inpatient, and procedure-based settings. See patients in follow-up for routine post-procedure care and manage complications related to procedures and specialized drug administration  Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice including, but not limited to, the following: Skin biopsies, lumbar puncture, specialty medication administration (Spinraza coordination, Zolgensma infusion coordination).

Education:

Minimum –

If Nurse Practitioner:

Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum –

If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP in Pediatric Primary Care Nurse or Family.

If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire AND CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
