We are currently seeking a Northeast Region Bridge Lead to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Bridge Team at our office in either Colonie, NY or Buffalo, NY.

We are on the forefront of bridge design developing new solutions that reduce cost and maintenance and utilize accelerated bridge construction (ABC) techniques to reduce road closure impacts. The Northeast Region Bridge Lead plays a critical role in the execution of high-quality projects that support the needs of our clients. The professional in this role oversees both technical staff and those in project management roles. They are responsible for reviewing appropriate staffing levels for the forecasted work, resource leveling, staff engagement, technical excellence and quality, and all operational activities so the team can function at an optimal level.

 

The Northeast Region Bridge Lead is also responsible for the development of the staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget. This individual will be measured relative to the team's project net revenue, project PF compared to budget, and expenses, as well as other metrics such as utilization and voluntary turnover.  Additionally, as a leader at CHA, this position will also be expected to directly manage projects of varying size and scope.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required, Master’s preferred Professional Engineer License (PE) requiredMinimum of 10 years’ combination of project management/budgeting and technical leadership experience requiredNYDOT, bridge design experience required Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to strategically apply best practicesAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)Understands QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineeringAbility to write proposals and monitor financials required An articulate and persuasive communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiencesAbility to lead large teams of technical staff, oversee staffing levels Trustworthy and able to handle confidential matters and sensitive informationAbility to sell/develop work with specific clients, fill "seller/doer" roleActive role in a professional engineering society/organization preferredAbility to travel required (less than 10% of the time)  SALARY RANGE:

$120,000 - $144,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
