DuPont has an immediate opening for the North America Nomex® & Kevlar® Aerospace Sales Channel Manager position.
Role Definition
The NA Aerospace Sales Channel Manager is responsible for managing and growing sales with our NA Aerospace customers that use Nomex® and Kevlar® Paper and Yarn.
The NA Aerospace Sales Channel Manager will also promote the use of Nomex® and Kevlar® solutions with downstream partners in the Aerospace segment.
The NA Aerospace Sales Channel Manager will execute our mid & long-term growth strategy. In addition, they will collaborate with the regional marketing leader to develop a cohesive Sales Channel strategy.
The NA Aerospace Sales Channel Manager will collaborate with a global team as decision making, production and end user sales with many customers can be global in scope.
Reports directly to the North America Aerospace Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
Lead execution of NA Aerospace channel strategy within the Aerospace team.
Develop and lead execution/coordination of the key account strategies including corporate level, global and field contact strategies at our key NA Aerospace customers.
Dynamically blend account management and business development with proactive hunting for new opportunities and client re-engagement.
Facilitate key relationships between all levels of DuPont and customer according to segmentation, including technical, marketing, and channel managers connections.
Drive, influence, and track progress against key Aerospace initiatives.
Participate in Aerospace trade associations, trade shows, and conferences to influence/track key Aerospace budgets, forecasts, trends, standards, and future direction.
Quickly communicate information across organization and maintain key account information and activities in SFDC (account plan, opportunity pipeline, call reports).
Provide routine feedback to the internal organization on market trends, competition and key customer wins, losses & areas of risk, and customer forecasts (revenue/volumes).
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Approximately 20-40% travel (can be home office based)
Preferences:
5+ year experienced sales professional preferred
Experience managing large, complex and strategically important accounts preferred
Experience negotiating contracts/agreements
Technical knowledge of DuPont™ Nomex® and or Kevlar® Aerospace related products
Experience with the Aerospace industry
Experience with industry partners
Experience with Salesforce.com
