Overview Publicis Groupe Sweden is now looking for a Nordic PR Director, leading our PR clients on the Swedish/Nordic market. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced PR advisor/generalist with extensive agency background and experience in leading B2C/FMCG clients on a Nordic level. This is both a strategic and operational role and we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial approach, strong drive and passion for communication, clients and great work. The Nordic PR Director will be a key player in building, shaping and growing our PR capabilities in Sweden and to the success of our clients. As part of the role, this person will also lead the PR activities for Publicis Groupe Sweden. The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Responsibilities Client leadership: Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with clients; providing strategic advice tailored to their unique needs, challenges, and objectives. Ensure continued client satisfaction, retention and growth. Strategy and campaign development: Develop and implement Nordic and local PR strategies and campaigns for Publicis Groupe’s Swedish and Nordic clients – as well as Publicis global clients on the Swedish/Nordic market. Activation and project management: Write, pitch and distribute press releases/stories and other materials to communicate key messages and announcements to media. Ensure innovative and creative approaches, tailored to different audiences and platforms, to maximize visibility and effectiveness. Delivery: Oversee the delivery of campaigns. Monitor media coverage, evaluate and report the effectiveness of PR campaigns. Quickly identify and act on areas for improvement. Media relations: Create and maintain strong relationships with media/journalists to generate positive media coverage and secure interviews and feature stories. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Publicis Groupe to create innovative, results-driven campaigns that exceed client expectations and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels. Ensure a close collaboration with our network (Publicis Groupe/MSL) to leverage synergies, exchange knowledge and to support and grow our network clients in the Nordics. Growth: Proactively identify new opportunities to deepen client relationships. Take the lead on PR pitches to support agency growth. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, current events, interesting market opportunities and emerging issues – relevant to our clients. Recommend proactive strategies and actions to leverage opportunities and address issues. Events: Plan and execute events (together with external partners), such as product launches. Develop/grow our offering with new services to ensure relevance and attractiveness to clients. Lead the PR activities for Publicis Groupe Sweden: PR, social media, home page, newsletter etc. Qualifications Min 5 years of experience in developing and implementing successful PR strategies and campaigns on a local and Nordic level. Agency background and previous B2C PR experience (FMCG experience is an advantage). Proven track record of successfully implemented PR campaigns for a range of clients. Strategic and operational with strong problem-solving skills. An ability to analyse data and market trends to develop effective communication strategies. You know how to drive growth for clients and can identify key trends that will drive our and our client’s business. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and to tailor messages to different audiences and platforms. Exceptional storytelling and content creation abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders - and to collaborate with cross-functional teams. A true team player! Strong media relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists and editors. Broad network of media contacts and relationships in the industry. Result- and solution oriented. A strong operator with an entrepreneurial approach, positive drive and can-do attitude. Commercial mindset and always strive for business growth. Fast-paced with strong organizational and project management skills. You are excellent at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Curious and embrace change.
