ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Nordic Medical Affairs Student Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the medical teams across the Nordic region, including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. You will be involved in assisting with various projects and initiatives sought at advancing medical knowledge and ultimately improving patient outcomes. It will be your responsibility to facilitate the execution of the annual medical plans proactively and independently while adhering to all applicable internal and external rules and regulations. Finally, as part of the Lilly Nordic Student Program, you will also have the opportunity to gain insight into other functions within Lilly and establish connections with fellow students supporting these areas.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Coordinate independently with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the accurate planning and timely delivery of medical meetings and initiatives.Prepare and facilitate the approval of medical content, e.g. medical newsletters, to support omnichannel engagement across the Nordic region.Assist with various administrative processes for the medical teams.Retrieve and analyze metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of medical activities and identify areas of improvement for medical affairs.Proactively map and optimize the use of existing medical resources from the global medical organization to avoid local duplication and improve efficiency.Drive the monitoring and optimization of medical budgets to enhance resource allocation across therapy areasContribute to improving internal processes and systems to drive medical excellence and efficiency.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Student in natural and/or health sciences, with preferably 1-2 years remainingResiding in the Oslo regionAvailable to work from the office at least one day per week during office hoursProficient in English and Norwegian, both spoken and writtenTechnical proficiency (Excel)Ability to understand and adhere to local pharma codes

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This is a fixed term position for up to a maximum of 1 yearWorking hours will be determined based on the needs of the medical teams, with an expected average of 15-20 hours per week
