This role is based at our Pittsburgh Service Center in Mount Pleasant, PA. **How You’ll Make an Impact** + CoordinatePittsburgh Service Center NDE tooling facility operations, ensuringprocess control and compliance with storage, calibration, maintenance,shipping, and receiving procedures. + Guaranteethat operations strictly conform to the requirements specified in ourSafety and Quality procedures, including rigorous equipment calibration. + Provideoutstanding back office and “on the shop floor” support to ensure toolorders meet the needs of our internal customers seamlessly. + Driveprocess improvement initiatives, cost containment strategies, andefficiency improvements to support NDE tooling and equipment production. + Communicateproactively and frequently with internal product line personnel to statusjob progress, manage exceptions, and address identified issues. + Leadthe coordination of tooling facility preparations for internal andexternal audits. **What You Bring** + Musthave a High School Diploma or GED that can be verified, plus 3+ years ofrelated experience or a 2-year associate technical degree; a BS/BA degreein a technical or business field is a plus. + Demonstratedmechanical proficiency with a focus on attention to detail; Proficiencywith computer software including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, andAdobe Acrobat and SAP is a plus. + Stronginterpersonal skills suited for a customer-facing role; Excellent oral andwritten communication skills, capable of clearly and concisely conveyinginformation to non-technical associates, peers, customers, and management. + Dedicatedand resourceful with a proven track record of achieving goalsindependently and collaboratively; Flexibility to adapt and thrive in anenvironment with changing requirements, schedules, and priorities acrossmultiple projects. + Demonstratedability to work within teams, discussing ideas, making recommendations,and helping to reach team consensus for forward movement. + Validdriver’s license and ability to lift 50 pounds. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers. **About the Team** From this location (and with team members located across the world) we perform major repairs, upgrades, maintenance and inspection on steam turbines, combustion turbines, and generators of all sizes. Our team can perform almost any major service offered by the factory and service can be performed at a customer site. The NDE tooling complexity ranges from simple tools to very complex robotic systems for performing inspections. This role is vital to our organization.
