Nondestructive Evaluation Quality Analyst
Volt is immediately hiring for Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Quality Analyst in Decatur, IL.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAs a NDE Quality Analyst, you will be a part of a larger NDE/metallurgical laboratory inspection team tasked with assuring the quality of mining and construction equipment and components.\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tWork in a hands-on NDE role supporting industrial fabrication production and processes. \r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tResponsibilities will include Ultrasonic Testing, Phased Array UT, Radiography, Visual Testing of welds, and Magnetic Particle inspection methods.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tWill support process engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality teams focused on fabrication and casting inspections by creating and maintaining inspection standard work, inspection procedures, process quality metrics, and monitoring audit data integrity. \r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tSupport a world class manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, which maintains an ISO accredited certified quality environment. \r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tSuccessful candidate will be trained and certified in Ultrasonic Testing, Phased Array UT, Radiography, Visual Testing of welds, and Magnetic Particle inspection methods in an ISO certified organization.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tOnce trained, qualified candidate will have inspection responsibilities at customer job sites and/or support NDE supplier audits domestically and internationally. \r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis is a full time opportunity.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe ideal candidate will have:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tPrevious NDE work experience (with a minimum of 3 years’ previous experience preferred)\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tRecognized external NDE certificates; or minimum of associates degree in NDE curriculum.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tMust be able to understand fabrication processes and how as it relates to quality of industrial fabrications.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tMust have knowledge and experience of NDE inspections processes, including Ultrasonic Testing, Visual Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing at minimum.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tWill be required to understand and utilize inspection data to identify issue, set goals, and drive corrective actions.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tWill need a passport and willingness to travel 25% time is expected.\r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPay Rate: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour\r\n\r\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
