Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Cardiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County’s Heart Health Center provides heart failure patients with comprehensive services to improve heart health and maintenance in a community-based setting. The hospital is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and trains its medical students, residents, and fellows.

ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care, as well as coordinate clinical care, in the outpatient Cardiovascular Medicine Sub-specialty clinics and the Cardiac Non-invasive procedure lab
Lead the delivery of quality patient care services - meeting or exceeding quality, patient and employee safety, and patient satisfaction Obtain complete history and physicalsOrder, perform, and interpret laboratory testsOrder medications and medical devices, as neededInterpretation of echocardiographic studies, exercise stress tests, and stress echocardiogramsPerform and interpret Transesophageal echocardiogramsInterpretation of EKG and ZioProvide instruction for Medical Students Qualifications Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiovascular Medicine
