Night Shift Dispatcher

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** + Create and maintain customer job files, shipping records, and signed delivery tickets. + Schedule and dispatch personnel, equipment, and service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer specifications or need. + Learn the products produced at the plant, including product codes, billing, and receiving systems. + Distribute loading instructions to drivers and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. + Maintain strong communication with customers and the Heidelberg Materials team to create a safe, productive working environment. + Participate in other duties or special projects as assigned. + The Shift will be 7PM-4:30AM **What Are We Looking For** + Strong organizational and multitasking skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. + Proficiency in using dispatch and inventory management software. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **Essential Experience and Skills** + High School diploma or equivalent. + Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products. + Ability to work both independently and within a team. + Flexibility to adjust to changing company or customer needs, with dependable and consistent attendance. + Bilingual a plus. **Work Environment** + Office setting within a plant or quarry environment. + Interaction with drivers, plant personnel, and customers. + Fast-paced and dynamic work conditions. **Physical Demands of the Job** + Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer. + Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. + May need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. + Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying weather conditions. **What We Offer** + Competitive base salary $45,750-56,287 + 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions. + Highly competitive benefits programs, including: + Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits. + Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA). + AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance. + Paid Bonding Leave, 15 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave, and 10 Paid Holidays.
