Work. Explore. at the south rim of the Grand Canyon! Job Summary: Janitorial for lodging public areas and minor repair work. The Details: Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round Pay: $15.10 per hour Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Grand Canyon South Rim? Responsibilities Keep lodge public areas, restrooms, lobbies, entryways, walkways and hallways clean on an on-going basis throughout the shift. Do room deliveries of items as requested by the front desk. Check with front desk during duties or as paged on the radio to do requested duties. In winter do snow removal from walkways, porches and steps. Perform minor maintenance in guest rooms as directed. Maintain strict key control and care of radios. Maintain safety warnings during cleaning of areas. Report any maintenance or safety problems to front desk immediately. Wear all required personal protective equipment while performing duties. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to complete assigned tasks without close supervision. Willingness to help out in all areas of the Rooms department. Willingness to work any shift within the 24 hour operation. Physical Requirements include: Ability to handle the physical aspects of the job, bending, twisting, and regularly lifting and transporting up to fifty pounds, etc. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
